Rules of occupancy

Welcome to SUNNY POINT APARTMENTS – Nikiti

We wish you a wonderful stay and good weather in order to achieve the perfect vacation.

Following the rules will ensure a pleasant and peaceful stay with us.


ACCOMMODATION AND DEPARTURE:

Accommodation after 14:00

Departure before 10:00

The option for early accommodation and/or later departure of the rooms must be negotiated during 

reservation or via the provided phones of the host.

The keys can be found in boxes locked using a code. 

After unlocking you may use the entire apartment provided you are following the house rules.

THE RUNNING(TAP) WATER IN NIKITI IS NOT SAFE TO DRINK.

 It is possible to contract digestive disorder.

1. Smoking is strictly forbidden in all rooms and closed off areas. 

It is permissible in the open areas – balcony, the garden or in the yard. It is mandatory to use the provided

 ash trays and ensure to always ensure that all cigarettes are completely out.

Complying with the fire safety rules during the summer months in Greece is extremely important due to the

 high risk of fires and failing to do so may lead to huge fines placed upon You by the government.

2. Follow the quiet hours: Between 15:30 and 17:30 and between 23:00 and 7:00

3. The movement of furniture in the rooms and common areas is forbidden

4. It is forbidden to take out any of the assets of the apartment ( towels, cutlery , plates, chairs and etc.) 

during the stay of the guests.

5. In order to ensure a comfortable stay each apartment can accommodate up to 6 people including children. 

Upon Your request we can also provide a baby bed for children up to 10 kilograms and also a baby table chair.

Bed sheets, towels, shampoo and other consumables will be provided in accordance to the declared visitors 

of Your reservation. Toiletries such as toilet paper, washing machine and dishwasher detergents will be 

provided for the entire duration of your stay.

Cleaning is provided for each five day – throwing out the trash and washing of the floors. 

Bedsheets will be changed on a weekly basis.During your stay depending on your preference you can request

additional changing of bedsheets and towels for a fee of 75 euros per apartment.

6. Pets are not allowed no matter their size or good behavior.

7. Please maintain good order and cleanliness in the apartments. We are kindly asking when using the air 

conditioning to ensure that all doors and windows are closed. Upon departure please return the remote 

controls in their original holders.

8. You can use the home safe, which can be found under the bar. When using the safe please make sure to 

strictly follow the instructions. All of the guests personal belonging and valuables which are brought to the 

territory of SUNNY POINT APARMENTS are the guests responsibility. Any loss of property due to 

open/unlocked doors/windows, regardless if the guest is in the territory of the property or outside (for a walk,

sun bathing on the beach or having a picnic) is the responsibility of the guest.

9. In the garden of Apartment 1 there is an automated sprinkler system which turns on at 07:10 in the morning

 and at 20:10 for a duration of 3 minutes. Please be careful in order to avoid getting wet and also ensure that

the clothes dryer is sufficiently far away from the sprinklers.

10. Each apartment has a dedicated parking spot in the immediate vicinity of the entrance door of the complex.

The parking spot of Apartment 1 (ground floor) is marked with K2D1 and the parking sport of Apartment 2 

(2nd floor) is marked with K2D4.

11. Illegal or amoral activities – gambling, prostitution, taking drugs, possession or consumption of 

pyrotechnics, dangerous cargo, possession or the use of fire arms and other weapons are absolutely forbidden

on the territory of our property!

12. The apartment owner does not bear any responsibility for accidents with children that may have happened 

on the territory of SYNNY POINT APARTMENTS as well outside of them. The wellbeing and good health 

of children is the responsibility of their parents. 

13. We are kindly asking to honor the departure times in order for us to ensure the proper cleaning and 

preparation for the accommodation of the next guests. When leaving the apartment the guests must leave the 

apartment in the same state as the day of arrival. Please make sure to double check for any forgotten items, 

check the safe, bathroom, balcony and rooms. Please close all doors and windows and lock the apartment key 

into the safe key box.

14. Each Friday (06:00 to 15:00) on the street infront of SUNNY POINT APARTMENTS there is a Farmers 

market – a traditional way of Greek families to procure fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, eggs, honey, olive 

oil and other items. The farmers market is a big attraction and is visited by locals and tourists. This creates a 

small discomfort as the parking spots will be blocked off and there will be no vehicle access to the entrance 

of the complex. If you intend to use your car during the duration of the day of the Farmers market you must 

park it on Thursday evening at about 200 meters away from the complex, outside the zone  for the Market.

15. Upon discovery of gross violations of the internal order and failure to follow this internal rule set we have 

the right to terminate our legal relations with the guests and their subsequent stay.

16. If you have problems with the cable TV or Internet during your stay please report this via phone in order 

for the problems to be resolved during business hours in the shortest time possible.

17. In case of violation of public order, including violation of the ban on loud noise in the specified time 

ranges as a result of which a signal is sent to the law enforcement authorities, the violators - guests of 

SUNNY POINT APARTMENTS, assume all responsibility for the damage caused by the violation of public 

order and harms to the owners and their reputation. If the law enforcement authorities impose sanctions, 

fines, acts and/or other penalties provided for by Greek law, they are fully covered by the guests responsible 

for the violations found.

18. Each room is equipped with fire detection sensors. In case of a fire, please exit in the fastest way possible 

and call 112 to notify the emergency services.

BARBECUE AREA

USER GUIDE FOR OPERAING THE ELECRIC BARBECUE

You must read the following User Guide before working with the electric barbecue

WARNING! POTENTIAL ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD!

This appliance works with a nominal voltage of 220V-240V – 50/60Hz, Power: 2200W

-Do not rince the temperature controller and the power cord while cleaning.

-Read all of the instructions before work.

-In order to protect yourselves from electric shocks do not submerge the power cord, extension cord or the 

temperature controller of the heating element in water or other liquids.

-During exploitation keep the power cord and cable dry.

-The appliance must be powered using a device for differential electrical protection (DEP), which has a 

nominal trickle amperage no more than 30 mA.

-The barbecue must not be used during rain.

-Do not work with the appliance if the wall outlet is damaged.

-Do not use charcoal or other flammable materials. The barbecue is not designed to operate using charcoal 

and this may cause a fire. Fire may disrupt the safety precautions and damage the barbecue.

-The power cord must be inspected regularly for signs of damage and the appliance must not be used if the 

cord is damaged.

-The appliance can  be used by children older than 8 years old and people with disabilities only if they are 

under the supervision or they are instructed on the operating procedures for safe use and they understand the 

risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed 

by children without supervision.

-Do not operate the barbecue if the temperature controller has a damaged power cord or power cable.

-Always plug in the temperature controller to the barbecue before plugging in the power cord into the wall outlet.

-Do not submerge the barbecue in water during cleaning.

-Operate the barbecue only on smooth and flat surface.

DANGER!

If the above mentioned DANGERS, RISKS and WARNINGS are not followed this may lead to grave bodily 

injury or death, fire or explosion leading to property damage.

-Do not alter the appliance or its use in any way, shape or use.

-Only use the barbecue as described in the current user guide. Any other use, not recommended or outlined in

 the user guide may cause a fire, lead to electric shock or cause injury.

-Do not leave the barbecue unattended and without supervision when in use.

-Do not allow children, elderly people or pets to be close to the barbecue when in use.

-This appliance follows and is in compliance with the technical standards for electrical safety.

-Please disconnect the barbecue from the electrical grid when not in use

-Please ensure the power cord is placed away from walking trails (places of foot traffic).

-Do not allow the power cord to touch the barbecue when it is hot.

-If an extension cord is used you must ensure it is properly rated for outside use and with nominal capacity 

equal or larger than the power used by the appliance.

-If an extension cord is used make sure to use the shortest length possible. Do not connect 2 or more extension cords.

-Do not leave the temperature controller in “ON” position even for short periods if the barbecue is not in use.

-Pulling the controller from the button may lead to it snapping off. Remove the temperature controller by 

holding it from both sides.

-This barbecue is for home use in an open space. Do not use in closed off spaces or with commercial intensions.

-Do not use the barbecue in close proximity to flammable materials such as wood, dry grass, shrubs and 

bushes and etc.

-Do not allow the barbecue to come in contact with flammable materials such as paper, wallpaper, drapes and 

curtains, towels, chemicals and etc.

-The barbecue must not be moved during use. Please allow the appliance to cool down before moving or 

leaving for storage.

-In case of an open flame – do not use water to extinguish the fire. TURN OFF the barbecue. Unplug the 

power cord from the electric outlet and wait for the barbecue to cool down.

-Clean the drip pan often.

-The pan for oils must be in place during the entire duration of use of the barbecue.
